PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The MINI MBA is aimed at participants with the knowledge and experience to contribute to class discussions, heads of business units or departments, project managers to be promoted to broader responsibilities within their organization and senior and top managers wishing to reinforce/update their knowledge.

Currently, MINI MBA is only open for corporate order with a group of minimum 10 participants.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

This program is designed for experienced managers and covers the full range of business functions (marketing, finance, HR, operations, supply chain management…). It helps participants develop a comprehensive, long-term strategic vision and reinforces their leadership and negotiation skills.

  1. ADVANCED MARKETING MANAGEMENT
    By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:
    • identify marketing challenges that business executives face in today’s environment;
    • to create, communicate, and deliver superior value to their customers to capture a fair share of this value back for their organization;
    • design and implement advanced marketing management strategies and tactics;
    • master processes and tools to implement these strategies and tactics on a day-to-day basis.

  2. CORPORATE FINANCE
    By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:
    • Understand Financial Statements
    • Master tools for Financial Decision-Making
    • Master the main concepts of capital budgeting and financial valuation
    • Have a better understanding of financial markets and financial investments
    • Design and implement a financial strategy

  3. NEGOTIATION SKILLS FOR MANAGERS
    By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:
    • identify the different steps to successful negotiation;
    • build a relevant negotiation strategy;
    • use influence techniques in order to keep control during the negotiation process;
    • deal with conflicts by using positive and assertive communication tools.

  4. LEAN OPERATIONS & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
    By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:
    • understand the main levers for optimizing operations;
    • lead and manage the supply chain processes in a company or a department; 
    • analyze and lead the internal and external flows;
    • assess performance and define improvement goals for operations and supply chain.

  5. MOTIVATE YOUR TEAM AND DEVELOP YOUR LEADERSHIP
    By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:
    • understand and assess individual motivations level;
    • address team motivation proactively and effectively handle organizational involvement within their unit;
    • teach their team to take responsibility and to be more committed;
    • build and strengthen a trusting spirit within a team;
    • evaluate their main strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvement in terms of leadership potential and managerial development;

  6. CORPORATE STRATEGY
    By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:
    • have a better understanding of the different levels and roles of strategy in a company
    • identify the basic business strategies and sources of competitive advantage
    • answer fundamental business questions such as “what is our business,” “who is our customer” and “what value do we bring to our customers.”
    • design and implement a strategic development plan

  7. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
    By the end of this module, the participants will be able to:

    • Understand HR and its role in the modern organization.
    • Know the managers role in HR matters.
    • Able to use common HR management tools such as:
      • Job Descriptions,
      • Job Evaluation
    • Interviews and selection techniques;
    • Performance Reviews,
    • Setting Pay,
    • Disciplinary action process
