It’s about embracing people for their skills and contributions, whether they are rich or poor, or whether their skin color is darkest or lightest. It is about the full spectrum of the human race. We are a clustered community and yet we discriminate within our own kind in ways we don't realize.  People who prefer not to speak and people who prefer to speak. People who wear and do not wear hearing aids or cochlear implants. There is much that makes each of us different, and yet we are all in the Deaf/deaf community.
