Vacant Position: Marketing & Merchandising

Mission Statement:

To build and develop the On- and Off-Trade businesses and increase brand presence, market share and Share-Of-Voice (SOV) for MHV's brand in the Provinces/Regions around Outer Ha Noi (namelyHoa Binh, Ha Nam, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, South East of Hanoi)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Work with the Merchandising & Marketing Supervisor (MMS - Off-Trade) & Commercial Director to develop and increase MHV’s overall business (On- and Off-Trade), market share and SOV (visibility) in the provinces/regions around Outer Ha Noi
  2. Work together with the MM Supervisor (Ha Noi) & Commercial Director to develop and increase consumption of MHV brands in the Off-Trade channel, e.g. build relationships with high-net-value (HNV) consumers, key opinion leaders (KOL), major corporate customers, etc.
  3. Ensure excellent execution and/or management of merchandising opportunities and A&P activities of MHV brands/products in both own and competitors’ outlets
  4. Ensure high level of achievement of other sales-related key performance indicators (KPIs) i.e. timely listings/distribution any new of MHV product(s), price management of core MHV products vs. competitors at all supply levels and outlet channel, optimum stock level in assigned areas and/or channels, etc.
  5. To constantly monitor field and market information, i.e. market trends, trade developments, competitors’ activities, etc. and submit accurate and timely reports to the Commercial Director/MHV management
  6. To ensure actual expenditures on relevant A&P expenses, operational and overhead costs are well managed and controlled, kept to within approved budgets or levels
  7. To ensure accurate, up-to-date and punctual submission and response to both internal and external requests for information, assistance, actions, reports, etc.  as well as correspondences in any form
  8. To continuously assess, evaluate and review business opportunities for MHV brands, e.g. potential new markets, competitive opportunities, new distribution/expansion plans, new  promotional ideas, cost-saving proposals, etc. and discuss and make recommendations to the Commercial Director/Sales Manager
  9. To assist (where possible) the MHV North Sales team in the achievement of common objectives for MHV brands, e.g. sales revenues/volumes, A&P activities implementation, etc.

10. To upkeep good business etiquettes at all times, in line with LVMH/MHAP/MHV ‘ways of working’, policies and guidelines to project a professional image to the trade, our customers and consumers and own colleagues.

Requirements:

- University Degree. Major in Marketing/Business preferred.

- Languages: English & Vietnamese

- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in multinational FMCG, beverage industry or hospitality industry

- Knowledge in wines, spirits, food and beverage would be advantageous
