On 2nd and 3rd October 2017, the grand opening ceremonies were held in both CFVG Hanoi and HCMC campuses to welcome more than 352 new students for three master programs and PhD. The events fall in special where CFVG celebrate 25th year anniversary.

The events witness appearance of CFVG Board of Directors: Dr. Jean Louis Pare, Dr. Tran Van Nhu – Academic Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chan – CFVG Senior Advisor, from two host Vietnamese universities Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh – Director of National Economics University (NEU) Postgraduate Institute and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong – Director of University of Economics Hochiminh City.

From French representative in Vietnam, CFVG welcome Mr. Eric Molay – Attaché de coopération scientifique et universitaire, Mr. Etienne Rolland-Piegue Conseiller de Coopération et d'Action Culturelle de l'Ambassade de France au Vietnam, Mr. Vincent Floreani - Consulat de France Ho Chi Minh.

Opening the events Dr. Pare – CFVG Director welcomes all students to join the 2017 intake, he shows his happiness to see the increasing number of selected students this year. More meaningful, everyone is living in the 25th year of CFVG in Vietnam. After briefing the history of the organization, the Director officially announces CFVG Hanoi new campus located in NEU new center building. He feels proud when CFVG always maintain its values of rigor, transparency, ethics and identity after years no matter how the market has changed. To end the speech, he wishes all new students health, motivation and success in the journey ahead.

Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat (NEU) - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Viet Tien (UEH), on behalf of two host universities, express their recognition to the great effort of new students who successfully passed CFVG tough entrance exams. They also share the common commitment to create favourable conditions for study at CFVG. After sending a sincere thank to French government representatives, the two directors foresee further higher achievements in training for Vietnam high qualified according to international standards managers, and at the same time to contribute more to the development of French-Vietnamese cooperation. Follow the speech, French distinguished guests insist the strong relationship between Vietnamese and French governments, they also take the opportunity to introduce beautiful culture of France to the audience and love to see and provide support willingness to CFVG students in their country. 

Mr. Doan Quoc Anh, the young talented outstanding student, follows the stream by showing his happiness to join CFVG. He addresses challenges waiting ahead and high expectation from CFVG and families. But he believes all students can count on the faithful support from the CFVG team. Quoc Anh does not forget to give a special welcome to international students who have traveled from different countries to Vietnam. He, on behalf of the students, promises to be more than willing to lend his assistance.

CFVG 2017 intake marks the organization’s 25th year operating in Vietnam. The MBA26, MMSS12, MEBF15 and PhD7 classes attract more than 350 students from different business sectors. 70% of students are at mid and senior management levels, mostly come from Vietnam and international banks and companies.
