CFVG's EMU project is supported and declared in Vietnam-France joint statement

Both sides emphasize the exemplary nature of cooperation in the field of higher education and research. They support the development project of the Franco-Vietnamese Center for Management Education (CFVG) in a European University of Management
At the invitation of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, the Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong paid an official visit to France from March 25 to 27, 2018. The high-level discussions made it possible to discuss the major international and regional issues as well as the progress of the relations marked in 2018 by the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations and the 5th anniversary of the bilateral strategic partnership.
Both side issued a joint statement in which "Both sides emphasize the exemplary nature of cooperation in the field of higher education and research. They support the development project of the Franco-Vietnamese Center for Management Education (CFVG) in a European University of Management and welcome the negotiations undertaken for the renewal of the intergovernmental agreement of the Scientific and Technological University of Hanoi"
In the overall statement, both sides expressed their belief that the visit will mark a new period in the reinforcement of the Vietnam-France strategic partnership.The declaration showed great progress of CFVG's transformation into EMU - the first ever European Management University in Vietnam.
