Gala Dinner 2017: The Night of Color and Pride

The exciting Gala Dinner 2017 takes place at Embassy of France in Hanoi which remarks a 25-year development path of CFVG. The annual event this year has attracted more than 300 students and alumni of all programs and CFVG staffs, managers and directors. We also witness special appearance of Mr. Mehdi Salim, Attaché for Higher Education and Scientific Cooperation and Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, the French Ambassador.

The exciting Gala Dinner 2017 takes place at Embassy of France in Hanoi which remarks a 25-year development path of CFVG. The annual event this year has attracted more than 300 students and alumni of all programs and CFVG staffs, managers and directors. We also witness special appearance of Mr. Mehdi Salim, Attaché for Higher Education and Scientific Cooperation and Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, the French Ambassador.

Dr. Jean Louis Pare opens the show by delivering a welcome speech to all the guests. He feels proud to see the number of Alumni is increasing and emphasize the role of former students’ contribution to CFVG 25 years pioneering in management education. He also takes this opportunity to thank and call for selfless support from everyone for the transformation to be a European university in near future.

 

 

Following Dr. Pare speech, Mr. Bertrand Lortholary, the French Ambassador in Vietnam sends the congratulation of CFVG’s 25th birthday. He highly values the CFVG project between Vietnamese and French governments that have exchanged hundreds of students to the two countries. On behalf of French side, he shows commitment to support this strong relationship and further development.

 

MrDat Gala

 

The CFVG Alumni Association, which was established in 2010 now introduces Mr. Nguyen Thai Dung (BigC Vietnam) to be the newest Chairman. Mr. Dung brings to the event special news as the association has obtained the Decision to join with National Economics University (NEU) Alumni network. The merge enables CFVG Alumni and students to access a broader community as well as business exchange opportunities. Dr. Tran Tho Dat, NEU expresses his happiness to see the two associations as one, wishing more success and wealth for all members.

Most of Alumni at the event feel proud and happy of not only being a part of a big family but also an “ambassador” of CFVG history. They cheer for the birthday, enjoy the delicious dinner while hanging around for networking and recalling old time memories with their classmates. The night is highlighted by the exciting, colorful dancing and music performances.
