LAUNCH OF NEW SPECIALIZED MASTER IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (MSCM)

On the occasion of Prof. Frederic Gautier, Scientific Director of CFVG MSCM, from IAE – Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University, visited Ho Chi Minh City, CFVG had hosted a press conference to officially introduce the new program: Master in Supply Chain Management, on last Thursday, June 22nd 2017. There were more than 25 reporters, from well-known newspaper, magazines and online-news, participated in the event.

Vietnam is seen as a market with tremendous potential for retail industry. In recent years, many foreign retailers have opened distribution system in Vietnam. The need for supply chain management professionals has increased significantly. A successful company relies on their skills to keep company’s goods, services and financial flowing to the marketplace quickly, efficient and as cost-effective as possible. In that framework, CFVG has collaborated with IAE - Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University to open a new program: Master in Supply Chain Management.

CFVG Master in Supply Chain Management program is unique in Vietnam, because in addition to a core competency of knowledge in the basics of supply chain management, such as distributions strategies, planning, and procurement…. it offers graduates state-of-the-art methods and techniques in strategy, planning, sourcing, sales support, and customer service, as well as advanced techniques and skills in technology issues, key trends and tactics.

The MSCM program is ideal for business professionals working in supply chain management or related function from variety of sectors such as: retailing, manufacturing, logistic … They have 2-5 years of working experience, with a solid business background.

Over 18 months of part-time study, graduates will receive the Master in Supply Chain Management awarded by Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne University – Master 2 degree according to French Higher Education System.
